He superseded Dirk Soete on this position.<\/p>\n<p>Markus Laesser has many years of international experience working as CEO and in other executive positions in general management, sales, marketing, and IT for companies including IBM, Microsoft, T-Systems, D\u00e4twyler, and Oerlikon.<\/p>\n<p>He has steered multiple business areas throughout structured transformations and change processes into customer-focused organizations. Extensive experience in sales excellence and in the management of global organizations in production and distribution as well as ICT and services rounds off his profile.<\/p>\n<p>As new Group CEO, Markus Laesser will lead R&amp;S Group in developing the key markets of electrical infrastructure with a focus on delivering the most reliable and efficient products and services.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #5587c8;\">About R&amp;S<br \/>\n<\/span>The Swiss-based R&amp;S Group is a leading provider of electrical infrastructure products in key markets around the globe.
