This makes each transformer unique. Its individual character, the complexity of construction and the high-quality standards require some tests before the production process is finalized.<\/p>\n<p>The tests, called Factory Acceptance Tests, are normally done with the participation and supervision of a customer representative at the testing station. In recent weeks, as the COVID-19 pandemic is spreading around the world, the standard form of FATs has become impossible due to safety reasons. That is why ZREW introduced online, live broadcast FATs.<\/p>\n<p>Customer representatives have a live view of 3 cameras at the same time, which show a view of the transformer under testing, the team\u2019s activities related to switching and calibrating the measuring system and the screen with the test results.<\/p>\n<p>Some details about the first online FAT at ZREW:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducted in March 2020<\/li>\n<li>For one of the main distribution network operators in Poland<\/li>\n<li>2 tested transformers with power rating 63\/31,5\/31,5 MVA and voltage 115\/15,75\/15,75 kV<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #5587c8;\">About ZREW<br \/>\n<\/span>ZREW is part of the Swiss-based R&amp;S Group, a leading provider of electrical infrastructure products in key markets.
